Mono M80 Guitar Sleeve Ash: solid protection

The basic version of the Headlock ensures your electric guitar sits solidly in this gig bag. Wrote the following about Mono M80 Guitar Sleeve Ash gig bag for guitar

This is a decent bag, tried the Ibanez SR305E that orginally bought it for but a little tight at headstock because the headstock is angled but still fits okay, then tried the Yamaha TRB1006J fits in nicely but again a little tight at headstock but is passable.I then tried the Musicman Stingray 5 in there and it fitted nicely beccause of it's straight headstock.It is decently padded nice and thick round about 20mm, smart rubber headlock system and the pocket has ample room for cables,a laptop or A4 pad and couple of pedals, also has a zipper pouch to store keys,pens,things of that nature. It is lightweight and comfortable when carrying on your back.I would say if your looking for something to transport you equipment around safely the try out these cases, they're pretty decent!

Jarenlang heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de gitaartas die ik bij mijn Fender Jaguar kreeg en jarenlang heb ik hier pijnlijke schouders en twijfels over de bescherming van mijn instrumenten aan overgehouden.
Eindelijk heb ik de knoop doorgehakt om een fatsoenlijke gitaartas aan te schaffen en ik heb er geen seconde spijt van gehad.

De tas is behoorlijk stevig, vouwt niet slap in elkaar als het instrument verwijderd is en heeft voldoende extra opslag mogelijkheden.
Kwa prijs is de tas misschien duurder dan concurrenten, maar het is het geld écht dubbel en dwars waard.

In het voorvak is ruimte voor een (gitaar)riem, kabels of eventueel een kleine laptop (bijv. een MacBook). Tevens zit er een apart mesh vakje in het grote vak om kleinere voorwerpen op te bergen. Denk aan plectrums, gehoorbescherming, extra batterijen, of je portemonnee, telefoon, sleutels en dergelijken tijdens een optreden.

Tot slot vind ik het erg prettig dat de tas iets lager op de rug hangt dan standaard gitaartassen.
Hierdoor stoot je minder snel de bovenkant tegen iets aan (als je bijvoorbeeld een trap omhoog of af moet).

Onwijs stevige tas waar je gitaar lekker geknuffeld in zit. Het was even zoeken naar een hoes voor mijn jaguar, maar deze past hier perfect in. Het vak op de voorzijde is groot genoeg voor wat kabels en reserve snaren etc. Je legt redelijk wat geld neer, maar de prijs/kwaliteit is perfect. Voor mijn gevoel gaat dit ding jaren mee en hij ziet er goed uit :)

Twee mini nadelen die verwaarloosbaar zijn:
- Mijn gitaar past nog beter in de hoes zonder gitaarband. Dit is dus wel een extra handeling bij het in en uitpakken.
- Ik had het (met mijn 1.72) wel prettig gevonden als de banden nog iets strakker hadden gekund voor nog iets meer draagcomfort. De hoes had wel iets hoger op mijn rug gemogen.
