In the form of the Raptor Plus HSS JR Pack, Peavey serve up a complete electric guitarist's starter kit, including a Peavey Audition TransTube guitar amplifier, a matching jack cable, a practical guitar strap and three plectrums plus a tremolo arm.
The Raptor Plus HSS: Highly Adaptable
The Peavey Raptor Plus HSS electric guitar features a solid basswood body and a stable maple neck, where the body comes armed with three passive pickups in an HSS configuration. Here, the humbucker in the bridge position shapes a powerful sound while the two single-coils are equipped to deliver cleans and warm leads. For optimum comfort, the neck has been topped with a 22-fret rosewood fretboard with a comfy 12-inch radius.
The Audition TransTube Amp
The compact combo amp that is part of this Peavey bundle operates on the basis of the gear-maker's exclusive TransTube valve-emulation circuit, setting you up with highly convincing tone whether you're playing over the Clean or the Lead channel. There's nothing to tweaking the sound using the on-board 2-band EQ and, as an ever-useful bonus, the amp comes with a headphone jack so you can practise your licks in private.
