If you're looking for an electric guitar that's a little smaller than standard, this Squier Short Scale Strat is perfect. It's part of a set that also consists of the Fender Frontman 10G amplifier, a cable, a strap and a pick. The Stratocaster has a scale length of 24 inches and a body made of alder with a bolt-on maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. The set even includes a 30-day trial subscription to Fender's new online learning environment to help you get started right away and stay motivated.
Strat Pack SSS: fully-fledged short scale and compact amp combo
Despite its shorter scale length, this is still a fully-fledged Stratocaster with three single-coil pickups, a 5-way pickup switch and volume and tone potentiometers. The fixed bridge with six individual saddles play their part in the instrument's stability, full sound, great sustain and intonation. The Fender Frontman 10G is a combo amp with 10 watts of power that is perfect for practising at home. You can even play along with your favourite music by connecting an external sound source via the aux input. For those times when you want to (or need to) practise in silence, the 10G also has headphone socket.
