General

Strandberg's electric guitars have a very unique, patented system when it comes to the bridge, which means that all strings actually have a different length, called variable scale. The strings in the D'Addario NYXL0984SB 09-84 Super Light Nickel Wound are adapted to this system and thus ideal for these guitars, in this case 8-string ones. Made of carbon steel with - for the bass strings - a nickel-plated winding, they give your guitar a powerful sound with a bright midrange.
With their 9-84 diameters, these strings are rather light, making them very smooth to play and easy to bow.
