General

The strings on your headless guitar also need to be replaced regularly. This D'Addario NYXLS1046 10-46 Regular Light Double Ball End Nickel Wound set is optimised for Steinberger, also with a TransTrem bridge. The strings are carbon steel, with a nickel-plated wrap at the bass strings. This combination of materials creates a sparkling bright sound with pronounced highs and mids. This is a light set with 10-46 thickness, so the strings are not too heavy so you can press them easily and also make bends and hammer-ons smoothly playable. They can handle different playing styles, both with and without a pick.
