If you're playing a set of tens but could do with more tension in the bass strings, then this hybrid pack of D'Addario XTE1052 Light Top/Heavy Bottoms will not only give you the balanced feel you're looking for, but have been built to last up to three times longer than comparable strings. The Light Top/Heavy Bottom blend combines the flexibility of a set of tens with the solidity of a set of twelves, also making this pack a great choice for guitarists that regularly tune down to D or C standard. Basically, you're getting smooth bends alongside a firmer grip on your chords.

XT Electric Strings

These strings have been made from the same carbon-steel as the renowned NYXL Series strings, complete with a stable fusion twist at each ball-end and a microscopic protective coating. It's these details that increase the tuning accuracy and stability by a good 131%, resulting in a string that's up to 42% stronger than comparable strings and lasts up to three times longer than uncoated strings.
