Made from a high-quality high-carbon steel alloy, this string is treated with the exclusive XT coating for longer life and exceptional strength. The coating ensures that the string retains its natural tone and feel, as with uncoated strings. This makes the XTPL014 perfect as a replacement string or for putting together personalised sets. All D'Addario strings are designed, developed and manufactured in the USA.
