General

The D'Addario XTPL008 is a loose string of 0.008 thickness, made of plain steel and treated with the XT coating. This coating extends the life of the string while maintaining the natural tone and playability of uncovered steel strings. The string is suitable for both electric and acoustic guitars and offers excellent strength thanks to the NYXL High Carbon Steel alloy. Designed, manufactured and engineered in the USA, D'Addario XT strings are ideal as replacement strings or for putting together custom-made string sets.
