Wrote the following about Ernie Ball 2725 Cobalt Extra Slinky Electric Guitar Strings

Deze set had ik nog niet eerder geprobeerd. Ze komen volgens mij het meest in de buurt van de 010-038 die Jimi (volgens Internet) gebruikte op zijn strats, maar dan van Ernie Ball! Ernie Ball ken ik inmiddels al als heerlijke soepele snaren van mijn andere gitaar (les paul), dus dat gaf de doorslag voor de bestelling.
Ik heb ze besteld bij Bax en kreeg ze natuurlijk snel thuis.
Het is een verschil van dag en nacht!! Waar de stratocaster voorheen best strak en stroef voelde, is ze nu heerlijk soepel! Bends en slides gaan als een tierelier. Speelt nu net zo licht als mijn les paul!
Tja, het effect van de kobalt moet ik nog ondervinden via opnemen, terugluisteren en vergelijken. Maar of het al of niet verbeterde klank geeft, maakt mij al helemaal niet meer uit. Het zijn gewoonweg hele fijne snaren! Ik hoop ze nog vaak te kunnen bestellen.
