The Richter 1829 Electric Guitar Strings set contains six strings for electric guitar, they have a hexagonal, carbon steel core wire and the three thickest strings were wrapped with nickel-plated steel. In terms of thickness, this is a combined set: the three highest strings (G-B-E) have light diameters, but the wound bass strings (E-A-D) come from a heavy set, with thicknesses from .052 to .030 inches. So you get a bit more power and volume in the lows while you can easily bend and slid in the high notes. So ideal for all-round rock guitarists, and certainly a great set for those who like to play with the well-known dropped D tuning. The strings are treated with a protective ion coating and therefore last extra long.
