General
Danelectro have reproduced a classic model from the '60s with their '64 electric guitar. This is a model that should be seen as well as heard. This version has a Metallic Orange finish and chrome-plated hardware including a Bigsby vibrato unit and hat-style knobs. Other notable details include the cream-coloured pickguard and the peanut-style neck plate.
From Twang to Crunch
Another feature that won't escape your attention is the dual Lipstick® bridge pickup that delivers a delicious crunch when played through an overdriven amp. Via the push/pull potentiometer, it's possible to split the pickup for a single-coil Lipstick® sound with twang and bite that's perfect for a variety of styles including surf, country, rockabilly or blues. Finally, a single-coil pickup in the neck position delivers a big sound with warm bass tones.
