General

The red-cloaked Danelectro DC59 12-string electric guitar looks a little like a '50s Cadillac with classic tail fins. Makes sense, as this retro-inspired shorthorn-bodied guitar is based on the 1959 original, sporting off-white tape binding around the body, a matte finish, matte hardware and, of course, two iconic lipstick pickups.

The Danelectro DC59 12-String Red: Famous Ring

The pickups combine with a masonite body to shape a bell-like tone, courtesy of special winding for increased output and sonic flexibility. As such, the DC59 is suited for practically any style and comes finished with a comfortable maple neck and a 21-fret rosewood fretboard with a 25" scale length. In other words, a satisfying playing experience is pretty much guaranteed.
