General

Dimavery's LP-700 series guitars are characterised by their classic curved shapes, the single cutaway, two humbuckers and a Tune-o-matic fixed bridge. This guitar sports a marvellous transparent honey-coloured lacquer on its flamed maple veneer top. The overall guitar has a sleek finish thanks to the gold-coloured hardware and colourful mother-of-pearl inlays in the fretboard and along the top.

LP-700: solid body and set-in neck

This guitar has a solid basswood body. Basswood is commonly used in the guitar industry because of its light weight and balanced tone. The maple neck is set into the body, which looks sleeker, provides a better tonal transference and ensures more sustain. Your notes will have a longer ring and more attack.

Suited for various types of music

The LP-700 is equipped with two humbucker pickups, famous for their full, warm tone and hum-free operation. Their output is also a little higher than that of a single-coil pickup, for a more imminent 'edge'. Ideal for blues, rock and the rough stuff. The three-position pickup switch allows you to choose between one of the two pickups or a combination of both. Combined with a volume and tone control per pickup, you can create a wide range of sounds.

Ik heb deze gitaar besteld na 4 jaar wachten en dromen. Uiteindelijk doe ik de doos open en de gitaar die erin zit is gewoonweg NIET de gitaar op de foto. Wat het echter wel is, is een extreem goedkope versie van de gitaar op de foto. Andere low quality materialen voor de knoppen,schakelaar,fretbord, inlays en Pickguard. Niet dezelfde graad van afwerking in het algemeen, foute kleuren, etc. Het is mij duidelijk dat Dimavery een low Cost merk is dat grenst aan oplichting.
Ik ben in mijn 24 jaar op deze planeet nog nooit zo teleurgesteld geweest. Ik vraag 100% mijn geld terug.

Wrote the following about Dimavery LP-700 electric guitar honey

De honing kleur van de gitaar vind ik prachtig om te zien, helaas doet de sierstrook hier afbreuk aan. Ik vind de gitaar door de sier rand een kermis achtige uitstraling krijgen. Uiteraard is dit mijn persoonlijke mening, smaken kunnen verschillen. De gitaar heeft mooi geluid, naar mijn oren wordt het Les Paul geluid goed benaderd. De gitaar heeft goede sustain, hoogstwaarschijnlijk mogelijk gemaakt door het zware gewicht van de gitaar. De hals speelt licht, de snaren staan redelijk dicht bij elkaar, zoals je van een Les Paul model mag verwachten. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vind ik zee goed. Het zware gewicht van de gitaar is voor mij echter ook de reden om de gitaar om te ruilen.

De gitaar is meer oranje dan op de foto's is te zien. Verder speelt de gitaar erg lekker en soepel. Echter blijft de gitaar niet goed in stemming. De lage E snaar heeft hier moeite mee. Andere snaren geprobeerd, maar probleem blijft. Verder een goede beginnersgitaar of extraatje. Geluid is verder super!
