Rebuilt in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Epiphone 1963 Les Paul SG Custom is an affordable reissue of a vintage LP. This Inspired by Gibson Collection model offers amazing value for money and features a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece and a snug mahogany body with a set-in, long tenon mahogany neck finished with a deluxe dark ebony fretboard and pearloid position markers.
The range of authentic and warm PAF-style sounds come courtesy of a triplet of Gibson Custombuckers and handwired electronics, including real CTS potentiometers, Mallory condensers and a Switchcraft pickup selector switch and output jack. In terms of hardware, you're looking at the aforementioned vibrato tailpiece, a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners, and a good-old TOM-style bridge. The 1963 Les Paul SG Custom even comes decked out in a vintage original sheen finish and, so you can keep it looking pristine, includes a matching Inspired by Gibson Custom black hardshell case.
