General
Les Paul was someone who achieved a lot in his lifetime. He was not only a great guitarist, but he was also very innovative when it came to the studio. His crowned creation is undoubtedly the Les Paul guitar, which has grown to become one of the most coveted guitars of all time. The combination of mahogany, maple and rosewood ensures a tonal palette that sounds sturdy and defined with wisps of brightness and warmth. In order to offer the greatest combination of tradition, playing comfort and modern-day technology possible, Epiphone presents the Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO.
Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO: professional
As its name suggests, the PlusTop PRO has an impressive AAA flame maple top. The three A's stand for the beautiful grain patterns in the wood, which are also known as tiger stripes. These stripes are accentuated beautifully by the transparent finish, and in just the right light, they even appear to be 3D!
ProBucker & coil-splitting
This guitar not only looks good, it sounds good too. It's equipped with two humbuckers, a ProBucker-2 at the neck and a ProBucker-3 at the bridge. Furthermore, there are push-pull volume controls for both ProBuckers that give you a sturdy PAF tone as well as sparkling, bright single-coil sounds. Are you after a versatile Les Paul that sounds as good as it looks? Then the Epiphone Les Paul Standard PlusTop PRO Heritage in Cherry Sunburst could very well be the Les Paul for you!
