For serious beginners that long for the tone of a Les Paul Custom but still want the mean looks and lighter body of an SG, the brilliantly priced Epiphone SG Custom will take care of every one of your needs. This double cut, devil-horned, Original Series solidbody is supported by a 1960s SlimTaper neck with a playing feel that comes as close as it gets to that of a genuine Gibson. The two mounted Probuckers deliver classic dual-coil tone and have been teamed up with a set of CTS potentiometers and vintage wiring to polish off the legendary thick and solid sound this model is so famous for, while a genuine Kalamazoo-style headstock sits proudly at the top of the neck.
