Loaded with a pair of P90 Soapbar pickups and four high-quality CTS pots, the Epiphone Wilshere offers electric guitarists a solid foundation with enough tonal flexibility to go in any direction they'd like. Using the 3-way switch, you can toggle through the hybrid humbucker-single-coil sounds the slightly broader P90s offer, which actually happen to strike the happy medium here by offering a touch more transparency than humbuckers would and sounding less thin than some single-coils do.
