General
Alexi Laiho's guitars have always had a unique look, but the ESP E-II Alexi Wild Scythe surely takes the crown. This offset V model features the artwork from Children of Bodom's album I Worship Chaos. The bindings, logo and iconic scythe position markers have all been added in a striking red colour. Gold-plated hardware enhances the Wild Scythe's unique appearance even further, making this musical work of art a great collector's item. A custom case is included too.
Follow the Reaper: Alexi's signature sound
The ESP E-II Alexi Wild Scythe is equipped with a passive EMG HZ-FH2 humbucker with an active MM-04 preamp boost, which results in a powerful sound without any unwanted noise. This model is ideally suited for the type of tight rhythm parts and complex solos Alexi is known for. Playing comfort hasn't been forgotten either, with frets 20 to 24 on the dark ebony fretboard featuring a scalloped design that offers more grip on the strings, and makes it easier to press them down. The neck-thru-body construction adds to the overall playing comfort, as well as the sublime sound.
ESP E-II
The ESP E-II series represents a new standard in high-quality electric guitars and basses. These models are manufactured with precision in Japan by ESP's highly-skilled craftsmen. The instruments produced have a better quality and finish than ESP's LTD models without the price tag of the ESP Original or ESP USA series. Almost all of the well-known models are included, from the Horizon to the Eclipse to the Arrow and the Mystique.
