General
The Horizon-ET Baritone Alternative Black is designed for guitarists who like to play their riffs low, tight and controlled. The neck-through-body construction combines a three-piece hard maple neck with an alder body and ash top, ensuring a direct response and plenty of sustain. The ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and the 686 mm Super Long baritone scale length provide the strings with extra tension, ensuring that even lower tunings remain tight and well-defined. The Alternative Black finish, black hardware and subtle Luminlay inlays along the fretboard give this guitar a modern and understated look.
Horizon-ET Baritone: built for low tunings
The combination of a Fishman Fluence Modern pickup and EverTune bridge makes this baritone guitar particularly well-suited to metalcore, djent and other heavy playing styles. The humbucker at the bridge delivers a powerful, modern tone with a crisp attack, whilst the EverTune bridge keeps the tuning stable and allows for precise tension adjustment on a string-by-string basis. Using the push/pull function on the volume knob, you can switch to Voice 2 for a more passive-sounding character. The guitar comes tuned a whole step lower as standard, so you can get started straight away with a solid, low foundation.
