Product information

General

The Kaoru KV-7 is a powerful 7-string electric guitar for guitarists looking for a tight low end and a distinct metal look. The body combines an ash top with an okoume back, whilst the three-piece hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure a responsive playing experience. With 24 frets and an extra-long scale length of 666 millimetres, the low seventh string remains tight and controlled. The black finish with a purple sparkle skull also gives the guitar a distinctive character.

Kaoru KV-7: built for a tight low end

For a powerful and defined sound, the guitar is fitted with two active EMG707 humbuckers. These deliver sufficient punch and clarity to ensure that individual notes remain distinct, even when tuned to lower pitches. The TonePros TP7 & T7Z bridge and GOTOH SG360-07 tuning machines ensure stable string action and reliable tuning. With a master volume, master tone and mini-toggle switch for pickup selection, the controls remain straightforward. This makes the Kaoru KV-7 an excellent choice for modern metal, heavy riffs and technical 7-string guitar playing.
