Cut out for styles like jazz and blues, the D'Angelico Premier DC semi-acoustic guitar looks and sounds the part thanks to hthe classic f-holes, double cutaway, and centre-block. Expect the character-packed, semi-hollow sound and flawless balance of a maple body and neck combined with a nice bit of warmth added by the pau ferro fretboard.

The D'Angelico Premier DC

As soon as you plug this sumptuous semi-acoustic into an amplifier, you get the lightly scooped sound of Supro's Bolt Bucker A5 Alnico V humbuckers, where the neck pickup delivers warm-and-full tone and the bridge pickup tightens up the sound. This particular Premier Series model also features a TOM-style bridge and a stopbar tailpiece and comes wrapped up in its own gig bag so you can take it gigging right away.

Wrote the following about D'Angelico Premier DC Brown Burst Stopbar Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Gig Bag

Deze gitaar voldoet volledig aan alle verwachtingen. De afwerking is van hoog niveau.
De afstelling was eigenlijk erg goed, ik heb de brug iets moeten verlagen voor een perfecte actie, maar dat is natuurlijk ook iets persoonlijks.
De Humbuckers zijn boven verwachting en geven een erg mooie (klassieke) toon op gelijk niveau als bijvoorbeeld de Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers pickups op mijn andere gitaar. Een upgrade van Humbuckers op deze gitaar is naar mijn gevoel dan ook niet erg noodzakelijk of zinvol.
Kortom, de D'Angelico Premier DC is een echte aanrader, die bij aanschaf niet zal teleurstellen.
