Ik gebruik deze 10-46 optiweb snaren op mijn larry Carlton H7 en ben er zeer tevreden over. Ze voelen heel fijn aan en klinken goed gebalanceerd, vol en helder. Veel beter voor mij dan de nanoweb. De coating van de nanoweb liet na verloop van tijd los waar je aanslaat maar bij deze optiweb nog steeds niet. Ik vind ze super.

Voor m'n strat gebruik ik Ernie Ball en voor m'n PRS CS24 PRS snaren maar deze zijn perfect voor de gitaar de we op de studie gebruiken. Blijven lang goed, gaan goed mee, zijn sterk en klinken goed dus ideaal voor een gitaar die door meerdere mensen gebruikt wordt.

Na jaren lang week in en week uit nieuwe snaren te moeten kopen. Heb ik nu eindelijk de oplossing gevonden tegen mijn zeer zweterige handen. Het gevoel is misschien even wennen, maar zeker niet slecht en de tone blijft weken lang als nieuw!

Ik werk al langer met Elixirs en heb ondervonden dat ondanks mijn agressief zweet de snaren toch veel langer meegaan dan ongecoate snaren.
Nieuwe snaren klinken altijd fijn hoewel ik de eerste dag toch altijd even moet wennen aan het bijstemmen/kletteren van de nieuwigheid.
Bij deze set: geen last van. Klank is net iets helderder dan snaren met andere coatings maar moet niet afdragen aan 'body'. Belangrijkste voor mij is ook dat ze die verse klank zo lang vasthouden.
Wat de impact van menselijke olieën en vetten wel niet heeft op die dingen!
De snaren zijn wat duurder maar ik moet ook minder snel opnieuw snaren kopen waardoor dit verschil zich terug opheft.
Wie ze niet gebruikt mist iets.

Hele fijne snaren! Heldere klank en het duurt lang voor er corrosie op de snaren ontstaat. Ik gebruik al jaren de .10! Zeker een aanrader om een keer te proberen. Prijs kwaliteit is prima!

Eindelijk Elixir snaren die me op de elektrische gitaar bevallen.
Op de acoustic gebruik ik niet anders, maar voor de elektrische gitaar vond ik ze nooit fijn aanvoelen.
Deze set is niet goedkoop in vergelijk met andere snaren maar ze houden zich prima, goede toon en bespeelbaarheid.
Ook na twee optredens klinken ze nog fris!
