Ik was opzoek naar snaren die lang mee gaan. Bij de bax werden deze aangeraden, hier heb ik toen 2 pakjes van gekocht. Bij allebei de gitaren brak de hoge e-snaar al vrij snel. Toen nog een keer een pakje gekocht en alle snaren weer vervangen, weer hetzelfde. Nu ben ik weer terug bij het merk Ernie Ball, hier ben ik wel mee tevreden.

Inmiddels zijn de 9-42 mijn favoriete snaren voor tremolo gitaren. Je kunt hiermee de tremolo lekker licht afstellen. De coating is sterker dan de nanowebversie. De klank geeft een warme transparante sound en verbeteren de midden- en hoge frequenties met een heldere presence. Snaren voelen totaal niet stroef aan.

Goede snaren. Mijn enige probleem is dat het vrij lang duurde voordat ze stabiel bleven. Ook na het uitrekken van de snaren had ik aan het begin wat problemen met dat tuning stability. Na een tijd heb ik hier geen last meer van gehad.

Deze snaren uitgeprobeerd op een strat. En ben zeer tevreden over de kwaliteit. volgende set wordt alleen wel weer een 010 maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur. Ik merk dat de optiweb coating ook langer goed blijft dan de nanoweb. Had wel eens een beetje last bij de nanoweb dat de coating los liet waar ik met me plectrum aansla bij me slag gitaar. Bij deze heb ik dat niet. Deze snaren voelen trouwens ook meer als ongecoate snaren aan. Prijs zeker waard.
