General

The ESP LTD EC-201FT is a streamlined version of the popular Eclipse. This single-cut model features a mahogany body with a flat top for extra-tight looks. In addition, the EC-201FT has been geared up with a single humbucker and single volume pot for a fuss-free set-up that lays nothing in the way of focussed play. That being said, this reliable electric guitar is no one-trick pony since the lone ESP Designed LH-150B humbucker can be coil-split via the push/pull volume pot, which opens up a wide a range of punchy sounds, ranging from warm cleans to brutal metal-ready tone.

The EC-201 Flat Top: Excellent Playing Comfort

The thin U profile of the neck thrown in with the 24.75-inch radius and twenty-two extra-jumbo frets of the roasted jatoba fretboard results in a snug playing feel supported by ample grip. Tack on the TOM-style strings-through-body bridge and the 3-piece construction of the mahogany neck and what you get is gig-grade stability and quick tuning.
