General

Experienced guitarists who like to venture into the depths of 8-string metal are perfectly accommodated by the LTD SC-208 BLK (Black) 8-string electric guitar. The signature instrument by guitarist Stephen Carpenter (Deftones) no longer requires you to perform radical drop tunings - its two added bass strings will get the job done just fine. The slender, fast neck of the SC-208 and its large frets allow for incredibly smooth and amazingly quick riffs, solos and string bends.

SC-208 BLK: all metal

Not only is the arched body of the LTD SC208 a sight to behold, it also rests against your body comfortably. Its stylish black surface is home to beautiful chrome hardware and two powerful humbuckers. These remarkable pickups ensure a proper sound that is perfect for distortion and overdrive. Combined with the eight strings, these features very nearly have the SC-208 buckling with metal.
