ESP LTD have added a seventh string to the V401B and name their creation V-407B. It is a baritone electric guitar with an added bass string. Experienced guitarists will immediately understand that the increased range will greatly expand their creative horizon, allowing them to explore even deeper caverns in the depths of metal, while retaining a good string tension. Thanks to the 27-inch baritone scale length, even down-tuned strings won't easily become too slack to play. V-407B: smooth, tight and set-thru

ESP wisely chose to fit the V-407B with a slender neck and extra jumbo frets so that your hand can travel along the fretboard with the greatest of ease and at tremendous speeds, while also performing smooth string bends. Let us not forget about the sound of this axe, however, as its mahogany body ensures deep, pervasive base tones while the two renowned EMG pickups (81-7 and 707) send an exceptionally tight and clear interpretation of the 7-string sound to your amplifier. A set-through neck ensures great sustain and no sharp edges at the heel.
