ESP LTD KH-WZ Black Kirk Hammett White Zombie Signature Electric Guitar

Great news for Metallica fans, as ESP issued a new, affordable Kirk Hammett signature model: the LTD KH-WZ. This guitar brandishes an awesome film poster print of the 1932 classic White Zombie, starring legendary horror actor Bela Lugosi. Just like the KH-602, the KH-WZ is equipped with EMG pickups and an original Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo bridge. This guitar comes with a rugged ESP Tombstone case.

The LTD KH-WZ: Solid-Body Bolt-On Construction

Contrary to the cheaper Kirk Hammett signatures, the body of this KH White Zombie is made of solid alder, giving this guitar a full sound with warm bass tones, rich mids and clear trebles. Its neck is made of maple, is bolted onto the body and features a fast and slender U-profile as well as a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with spider inlays and a bat at the 12th fret. Naturally, it sports Hammett's signature on the headstock.

EMGs and Floyd Rose

The ESP LTD KH White Zombie is equipped with two EMG BoneBreaker active humbuckers (Hammett's own signature pickups): a ceramic BB-B at the bridge and an Alnico 5 BB-N at the neck. This sonic duo delivers a serious amount of gain without losing definition and will cut through even the densest of mixes while, in order to enable Kirk's dazzling dives and whammy effects without falling out of tune, the KH-WZ comes finished with an original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge.
