This Mexican-made Wolfgang Special offers a complete and superbly comfortable playing experience for a very reasonable price. The Floyd Rose tremolo of this Wolfgang Special Black MN is even fitted with a D-Tuna, for swift Drop D tuning, without any loss of tune across the rest of the strings.
EVH Wolfgang Special: Sustain and WoodTtypes
The 22 jumbo frets laid in the fingerboard give this Wolfgang and super-comfortable, ultra-low action. Combined with the compound radius, You're going tp be playing effortless leads in the upper registers, as well as comfortable chords further down the neck. The Wolfgang Special produces a full-bodied sound with well-defined trebles - a result of the maple neck and the basswood body of this thoughtfully crafted guitar. The direct-mount humbuckers provide increased sustain and add a delectable wood tone to the overall sound of the instrument.
Various Vintage Choices
The Floyd Rose tremolo and locking nut are regular fixtures in Eddie Van Halen's setup and enable him to create an incredible range of flawless vibrato effects. This model is complete with the same bridge, a 25.5-inch scale length and a standard two-humbucker configuration - both further vintage choices on the part of Eddie Van Halen. This EVH Wolfgang Special is a guitar that honours tradition but gives it a surprising, modern twist. In addition to this stylish Black model, the guitar is also available with a Vintage White or Stealth finish.
