With the JT-300, JET Guitars prove that an affordable electric guitar can not only pack great looks, but solid features. This 300 Series model has been built using a dark roasted maple fretboard and a maple neck with C-profile, which combine with a round, 9.5" fretboard radius for nothing short of easy-going, comfortable playability.
The JT-300: Contemporary Twang
The core of the JT-300 is formed by a basswood body that's been mounted with two ceramic single-coil pickups that lay down a bright, forceful foundation sound and give the guitar its versatile tonality and contemporary twang. Finished with a fixed bridge and bone nut, this electric 6-string offers players a stable base and serious bang for their buck.

Prima Tele. Heerlijke fijne, soepel en snelle hals. Fijne lage action. De klank is goed, door maple hals geeft ie iets meer treble sound op een positieve manier. Het is ook licht in gewicht en toch body. Ik heb ookk de Jet Tele 350 met humbuckers die is een tikkelte zwaarder. In vergelijking hebben de pickups bij de JT 300 iets minder output en dus minder power en body in de sound. de brug pickup is voor mijn smaakt iets te trebly, mag iets minder zijn. De nek pickup is goed en behoeft niet vervangen te worden. Gewoon een heerlijke felle heldere open sound deze komt gewoon goed door. Wanneer de brugpickup iets minder trebly sound had dan was deze ook goed geweest. De brug ga ik tzt wel vervangen met bijvoorbeeld de Dimarzio Chopper T, die klinkt niet schellig. In drive mode klinken de pickups gewoon lekker fel. De Jet Tele is zeker een stuk beter als de Harley Bentons, mn de hals is bij de Jet top. Oja de gitaar ziet er mooi uit.

Je krijgt waar je voor betaalt met deze Jet. De basis is er, maar in deze prijsklasse is het altijd spannend hoe goed de afwerking is out of de box. De mijne had wat scherpe freteindjes en de topkam was niet helemaal goed gevijld wat je merkte in de intonatie. Dat is allemaal vrij simpel op te lossen met een paar vijltjes, maar als je zelf niet zo handig bent is een afstelbeurt erbij wel de moeite waard.
Buiten dat is het een solide basis, halsprofiel is fijn en de pick-ups geven prima geluid al ga ik die wel vervangen uiteindelijk.
Verwacht dus geen wonderen, maar gewoon een prima gitaar voor een goede prijs.

In deze prijsklasse is deze Jet onovertroffen. De afwerking is top, ik heb de Sunburst versie.
En de gitaar heeft de typische Telecaster "twang sound", waar ik naar zocht.
