The EVH Wolfgang Special is manufactured in Mexico. As a result, this quality guitar is available for a very reasonable price. Are you a fan of modern, or do you prefer a classic style? This streamlined and versatile Wolfgang guitar combines the best of both worlds. The sound properties of the wood come through clearly in the guitar’s tone, thanks to the direct-mount pickups. The comfortable curves and satin-smooth neck make this special EVH a remarkably pleasant instrument to play.
Thanks to the compound fingerboard radius, this shredding monster allows for a wide range of playing styles. With the Wolfgang Special you can easily alternate between radically rapid solos and crashing chords. The matte black basswood body and the maple neck are a perfect match and produce a balanced tone with just the right level of definition in the upper registers. The ebony fingerboard adds a modern touch and fits right into the striking Stealth colour palette of this EVH electric guitar.
Like its more expensive American counterparts, this Wolfgang is equipped with a D-Tuna, which enables you to effortlessly switch to a Drop D tuning. Eddie Van Halen designed it himself to make sure it worked seamlessly with the Floyd Rose tremolo - which is ideal for those typical Van Halen dive bombs. As such, this Wolfgang Special is perfectly equipped for any type of rock music.
