The letters EVH stand for Eddie Van Halen, of course - the virtuoso that rocked the world in the early '80s! Once, Eddie took a chisel to his ST-model guitar to make room for a humbucker, and he hasn't stopped looking for the perfect guitar since. Nowadays, he plays an EVH USA Wolfgang, named after his son. This particular model, the EVH Wolfgang Standard in Trans Blue with a quilted maple top is a more affordable version of that guitar.
