Fazley Startist Plus ST118 Shell Pink with Gig Bag
where do i start?
bought this for £59.95 inc delivery - looking at the specs i thought this had to be some kind of mistake and almost anticipated a cancellation email
well, the order arrived in a timely manner and i was immediately blown away with the build quality - with the body being solid ash, it was reassuringly heavy - all frets were finished perfectly, intonation perfect and action completely satisfactory - with a quick retune it was ready to play instantly
so i plugged her in and had a go
it was immediately noticeable how fluid the neck is - i was up and down with ease - the wilkinson ceramic pups sound bright and clear - in fact this guitar sounds as good as the MIM fender strat i played recently
the graphtech nut holds the guitar in tune even after plummets on the whammy bar
the overall quality of the guitar is mind blowing considering the cost - im still in disbelief at how good this for under £60 - this was sold at a loss for sure
the only downside (which is minor) is that it didn’t come with the gig bag which would’ve been really useful nor the owners handbook
outside of that - this is a hell of a lot of real quality guitar with quality components for very very little money
100% satisfied and am looking forward to my next fazley to add to the collection
