Tone, tradition, innovation. Everything the modern guitarist could possibly need concerning sound, innovation and tradition is represented on this Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Ash. This legendary guitar model has been virtually unaltered since its introduction in 1954, but Fender have kept an eye out for the advantages of modern technology as they developed their American Deluxe Stratocaster. A classic design with modern improvements and 100% American. This Deluxe Strat has a rosewood fretboard and one of Fender's most remarkable colours: Burgundy Mist Metallic. It comes with an SKB case, a guitar cable, a guitar strap and Schaller Security Locks.

American Deluxe Stratocaster Burgundy Mist Metallic RW: luxury upgrades

The neck of this American Deluxe Stratocaster has 22 medium jumbo frets and a compound radius of 9.5 to 14 inches. In other words, you can play comfortable barre chords on the lower positions and easier bends, without any buzz, high on the neck. For added comfort during high notes, this guitar has a bevelled heel. Its high-quality machine heads don't only provide for faster string changes, they also have an excellent tuning stability in combination with the renewed two-point vintage tremolo bridge. Thanks to the threadless design with adjustable tension, slack on the tremolo arm is a thing of the past.

Renewed S-1 configuration: 10 different sounds!

The American Deluxe Stratocaster is fitted with Fender's new N3 Noiseless pickups. These three single-coils produce that legendary Strat sparkle, without the typical 50Hz hum or static. The top of the volume knob is a special pressure switch, the S-1 switch. By pressing the S-1 you'll activate a different circuit that allows you to create five completely different sounds in addition to the five original Strat ones. These sounds range from a single out-phased pickup to all three pickups combined. How's that for versatility?
