General

The ESP E-II Eclipse is one of the most popular models the Japanese brand makes. Little wonder, since the mahogany, single-cut body guarantees a thick, rich sound. The playability is also everything you would expect, especially since the set of twenty-two XJ frets have clearly been loaded onto the ebony fretboard with a near insane level of precision while the modern 12-inch radius and thin-U neck profile support tight, high-speed riff and lick work. As standard, the ESP E-II Eclipse comes with a form-fit hardshell case.

The E-II Eclipse: Surprisingly Versatile

For this version of the E-II Eclipse, ESP have opted for a set of EMG 57/66 TWIN humbuckers. These flexible, active double-coil pickups can be set to perform like single coils thanks to the coil-tap function, allowing you to conjure a huge range of sounds with a single guitar. From sparkling clean tones to all-out metal and everything in between, the E-II Eclipse covers it all.
