General

Following the American Deluxe series, Fender introduces the next step in the development of high-quality Fender guitars. The American Elite line modernises the legendary Telecaster with upgrades that include an ebony fretboard. The tried-and-trusted Telecaster body of this Elite has a bellycut recess which was inspired by the Stratocaster. There is more ergonomic comfort in the body and the bolted-on maple neck has been redesigned to offer a state-of-the-art Tele. It also features a compound fretboard radius that goes from 9.5 to 14 inches and a compound neck profile that starts as a Modern C and ends as a Modern D at the joint!

American Elite Tele EB: iconic Telecaster Twang with a dark fretboard

In order to keep the strong, clear sound of this electric Fender intact, the body and neck are made of alder and ebony, respectively. The ebony fretboard adds a plenty of punch and contrasts nicely with the Satin Jade Pearl Metallic finish as well. In terms of amplification, this Tele has all the perks modern-day technology to offer. Both single coils in this Elite are Deluxe Noiseless Tele pickups that give you that unmistakable Tele twang without unwanted noise like a 60-cycle hum. There is a volume control with an S1 switch to offer you even more sound possibilities. Set the No Load tone control to 0 and it'll produce an extra pure, sparkling tone that's second to none! This American Telecaster includes a moulded Elite case and accessories.
