General
When drafting the refreshed American Professional II Series, Fender took all of the much-loved features of the first generation before adding a fistful of satisfying upgrades. This is the Stratocaster MN with HHS pick-up configuration, which proudly features a V-Mod II Double-Tap humbucker at the bridge. This way, you're not only assured of fat and dynamic double-coil tone, but you can use the push-push volume pot to coil-split it for a tonal palette with even more flavours than before.
The American Pro Stratocaster HSS: V-Mod II Pickups & Deep C Profile Neck
The mid and neck positions are claimed by V-Mod II Single-Coils. In terms of sound, these pickups pick up where the first Professional Series models left off and feature improved windings and enhanced tonal brightness. Also, every pickup mounted to the body of this USA Pro II has been designed the legendary Tim Saw, while classic Fender feel is taken to the next level by a Modern Deep C-profile neck finished with butter-smooth satin-gloss lacquer.
Increased Playing Comfort, Fret Access, Sustain & Definition
Fender have also nudged the new Pro Strat II in an even better direction when it comes to playing comfort, meaning the edges of the rosewood fretboard have been fully rounded off. The same goes for the heel at the pocket on the side where your fingers pass, all of which helps to shape the maximum playability this guitar offers. Meanwhile, a cold-rolled steel tremolo block adds extra sustain and definition to the foundation sound, and a brand-new string tree make for the sweet icing on the cake.
