General
Fender's American Special Stratocaster 2-Tone Sunburst RW has an alder body, a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. It's equipped with a vintage-style tremolo bridge and has three Texas Special single-coil pickups. The neck has a smooth satin gloss finish and the large '70s-style headstock is another notable feature.
American Special Stratocaster 2-Tone Sunburst RW
A Strat may well have an iconic design, but it's just as well known for its distinctive sound. The Texas Special single-coil pickups were made by the Custom Shop team and guarantee the famous Fender sound. This model has a Greasebucket circuit too which ensures that no extra bass is added to the sound when you turn down the tone knob leaving you with a clear sound with fewer high frequencies only.
Where the past meets the present
A classic electric guitar like the Strat has a rich history behind it and this model pays homage to its heritage with features like the large '70s-style headstock complete with logo. A more modern addition are the specially designed dual T-roller string trees that ensure the strings run through from string nut to machine head at just the right angle. At the other end of the instrument, the vintage-style tremolo bridge has six independently adjustable saddles.
