This solid body already comes with a timeless shape and this model has been blessed with an improved D-profile neck for a fast, agile feel and the comfort offered by a more rounded format. The enhanced fretboard radius starts at 10-inches rising to 14, making lead licks and extreme bends effortless and lending a tight grip to swift changes during rhythm parts. The rounder body contours, rounded neck heel and pocket cut-out ensure that nothing gets in the way of your playing.

Every member of the American Ultra Series has been mounted with the very latest generation of Noiseless pickups and as such, this Tele is loaded with two Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele single-coils. As the name suggests, you're getting classic Telecaster sound with a clear signal and none of the annoying buzz and grumble associated with older models. At a glance, it looks like nothing about the controls has changed until you pop the S1 switch on the volume pot, flip the 3-way switch to the middle position and place both pickups in series, giving you an extra and unexpected humbucker sound.

Zowel de Professional als de Ultra hebben een S-1 switch die de elementen in serie schakelt bij de middelste positie, om een wat voller, dikker geluid te generen wat moet doen denken aan een humbucker. Ik merk dat ik deze functie in de praktijk niet vaak gebruik, aangezien ik geen Telecaster in mijn handen heb als ik een dik en vol geluid wil, maar het kan handig zijn in specifieke momenten.
Al met al echt geen spijt van de aanschaf van deze gitaar. Klinkt waanzinnig, speelt gemakkelijk en ziet er adembenemend uit!
