This Fender Duo-Sonic HS is a modern version of the classic model that first came out in 1956 and is still a very popular electric guitar today. That's mainly down to its unique look and sound. It's a short-scale model with a scale length of 24 inches, a Fender 6-saddle string-through-body Strat hardtail bridge and an HS pickup configuration. Together with the C profile neck and the 9.5-inch fretboard radius, it offers optimal playing comfort and has excellent tuning stability and good sustain. It's safe to say that this HS PF offset guitar offers plenty of diversity when it comes to the sounds it can make.
Duo-Sonic HS PF: versatile
The single volume and tone controls on this compact Fender may look simple but there's a lot more going on with the electronics than you might expect. As well as the robust sound delivered by the humbucker in the bridge position, the single-coil neck pickup can be combined with the sound of a second single-coil by using the push/pull tone knob. This essentially splits the humbucker to give you even more sound possibilities so that you can play music from a wide variety of genres including pop, funk and alternative rock. If you're looking for a guitar that's a little bit different from many of the other models out there, Fender's Duo-Sonic HS Pau Ferro might just be the one for you.

Wrote the following about Fender Duo-Sonic HS Surf Green PF electric guitar
De Standard was duidelijk beter dan de Affinity qua geluid en handling, maar toen ik de Duo Sonic vast hield was ik meteen verliefd. De hals speelt lekker soepel en ligt goed in de hand. Daarnaast was het geluid veel rijker en zonder ruis/bijgeluiden. Verder is het ook fijn dat de gitaar een push/pull rod heeft waardoor de humbucker ook kan worden gebruikt als een singlecoil.
Verder is de kleur natuurlijk super. Zoals hierboven al genoemd ging ik eigenlijk voor een Affinity in SG, maar deze Duo Sonic SG springt er net wat meer uit doordat er een soort van metallic-flakes in zitten en de kleur hierdoor voller en levendiger is.
Tot op heden heb ik van andere mensen die gitaar spelen alleen maar positieve reacties mogen ontvangen op de verschijning van deze gitaar. Niet belangrijk, maar toch leuk :)
Ik ben dus zeer tevreden over deze gitaar en haar performance en ook over de hulp die ik bij Bax heb gekregen.
