The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster is the legendary British blues guitarist's signature model, in other words: this guitar incorporates all of the iconic artist's wishes. For instance, a comfortable V-profile neck and a set of classically sounding Vintage Noiseless pickups, without that well-known 50Hz hum or static, as well as a highly versatile tone control and a locking tremolo. This is the metallic grey Pewter edition, complete with tweed case.

This Artist series Fender guitar is made in America, using only the best hardware and wood types. It features a lightweight alder body with a bolt-on, one-piece maple 22-fret neck that, combined with the single-coil pickups, provides a clear, tight, punchy sound with the famous Strat 'quack' in the pickup switch's mid positions. The Eric Clapton Stratocaster is equipped with a set of vintage-style machine heads and an Original Vintage Synchronised tremolo bridge. Because he doesn’t use the tremolo, Clapton chose to lock the bridge, which this gives this guitar that little longer sustain.

Versatile TBX tone control and mid boost

The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster sets itself apart from other Strats by its highly versatile electronics. Beneath the first tone knob there hides the TBX tone control, consisting of a 250 kOhm and 1 MegOhm potentiometer stacked on top of each other. In position 0 to 5, this'll function as a normal passive tone control to filter out the trebles. In position 5 to 10, however, a purer sound with clearer basses and trebles is produced. The second tone knob is the mid boost that allows you to adjust the mids up to +25dB, making even single-coil pickups sound like fat humbuckers. Ideal for solos!
