General

This Telecaster Thinline pays homage to Fender’s golden age. The semi-hollow body with F-hole and its light weight provide extra acoustic resonance and long-lasting playing comfort, even during long sessions. Finished in an authentic Closet Classic Gold nitrocellulose lacquer, the guitar looks as though it has come straight out of the 1950s, complete with subtle ageing applied by the Fender Custom Shop itself. The ‘50s-style maple neck feels instantly familiar, ideal for classic rock, blues or country. The vintage-style single-coil pickups deliver sparkling highs, a defined mid-range and the characteristic Tele twang, but with an extra warm, open tone thanks to the semi-acoustic construction. The guitar has been professionally set up and fully checked: ready for the stage, the studio and home use.
