Thankfully, this Fender Classic Special '60s Strat in Vintage White from the Japan Exclusive series is a worthy alternative. It has an alder body fitted with three Custom '60s single-coil pickups for a sound that will take you back to the time when musical experimentation and innovation first peaked.

Classic Special '60s Strat

As soon as you pick up this model, you'll notice that Fender has been careful to ensure it has a '60s feel to match its look and sound. The fretboard has a rounded 7.25-inch radius that, together with the 21 vintage-style frets on the rosewood fretboard, ensures optimum playing comfort. Gotoh machine heads have been fitted to give this Japanese Strat excellent tuning stability too. Finally, the body and the neck both feature a lovely lacquer, giving this model a fantastic-looking finish.
