Fully modded according to the Slipknot guitarist's exacting needs, this edition retains classic Tele style while firing off stomping, metal-focussed tone. The solid mahogany body of the Fender Jim Root has been fully decked out with a set of active humbuckers, where the necessary brutal rhythms and thick squeals are supplied by an EMG 81 pickup at the bridge and an EMG 61 at the neck provides the stark, transparent cleans and warm leads. Coated in Flat White and polished off with black hardware and a matching black pickguard, this incomparable model comes complete with a Fender Deluxe Black Tweed hardshell case.
The Fender Jim Root Signature Telecaster: Pile on the Playability
The resonant foundation of the body and pickups are not just on point, but the playability is piled on by the light and controlled feel of a dark ebony fretboard with a modern 12 inch radius and twenty-two medium-jumbo frets. Both the body and neck have been given a satin finish to support maximum playing comfort, and since this model has been built for heavy lifting, the fixed bridge has been teamed up with a set of Deluxe Staggered Locking machine heads to lay down a concrete base when it comes to tuning and intonation.

Paar dagen op gewacht, dus dat is een mooie verrassing.
De gitaar ziet er geweldig uit, geen enkel mankement in de afwerking te vinden, nek pocket is netjes, spuitwerk is mooi, geen oneffenheden, en de gemonteerde harde waren zijn uitstekend.
Geen scherpe uitstekende frets.
De gitaar is bijna perfect afgesteld, geen fretbuzz, geen slecht gezaagde topkam, intonatie is bijna spot on, en de actie is mooi laag.
Eem snel in de versterker geplugd, en ja; man man , heerlijk vet scheur ijzer, en het cleane geluid mag er ook wel wezen :)
In de koffer zitten ook nog 2 straplocks, mooi mee genomen.
Enige minpuntje:
De koffer.
Deze ziet er weliswaar heel goed uit met de tweed bekleding en de rode binnenvoering, maar is niet echt road ready/bestendig.
Het sluitwerk is van wat wat bedenkelijke kwaliteit.
De koffer is verder prima, ideaal om je gitaar veilig in op te bergen.
Vind je het geen probleem dat de koffer door gebruik beschadigd, just use the darn thing.
Al met al een goed klinkende gitaar, dus ben je op zoek naar het EMG geluid??
Dan is deze gitaar meer dan het overwegen waard.
