Because of their asymmetrical body shape, the Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar are often called Offset guitars. This unusual body shape usually comes with a unusual pickup configuration and a completely unique sound. However, with the Offset Telecaster, or Telemaster, Fender pairs the unusual Jazzmaster body shape with a Telecaster sound for the first time. If you've always been looking for a Jazzmaster with maximum twang, then this is the guitar for you.

Construction

Not just the body and pickguard are special, its other specs also contain elements from various different series. The neck, for instance, comes from an American Standard Telecaster. As such, you'll be getting a modern 25.5" one-piece maple neck with a C profile and 9.5" fingerboard radius. A vintage-style single-coil Tele pickup at the bridge and the 'Twisted' single-coil at the neck take care of the amplified sound. Furthermore, the tone controls feature the Standard series' No-Load circuit. For the bridge, Fender chose the American Vintage series string-through bridge with three brass saddles.

Limited Edition

After reading the specifications above, it won't surprise you that this Telemaster delivers that typical and well-loved Telecaster twang. That this is paired with a Jazzmaster body is quite special indeed, and the Lake Placid Blue finish makes this into a unusually attractive instrument. Do note, however, that this is a limited edition guitar. So if you're looking for that Tele sound in a Jazzmaster package, don't hesitate!
