The limited edition Made In Japan Hybrid II Jazzmaster from Fender serves up the vintage looks and the classic versatility with some modern character on the side. The solid ash body immediately freshens up the foundation sound and comes loaded with a pair of Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups which, coupled with standard-issue rhythm/lead circuit, deliver a more contemporary take on that timeless Jazzmaster sound.
The Fender Hybrid II Jazzmaster: Reliable Chic
The maple neck of this MIJ Fender offering has been given a U-profile, which has been lightly modified for an even more controlled feel. The scale-length remains at a classic 25.5 inches and couples with the 42 millimetre nut, putting balanced string tension and comfy string-spacing beneath the fret-hand. The Vintage Style bridge has been teamed up with a Floating Tremolo tailpiece, supporting subtle vibrato play, while the White Blonde high-gloss paintwork and four-ply faux tortoiseshell pickguard polish off some undeniably chic aesthetics.
