General

This Fender Mustang in Olympic White is an offset model that is manufactured in Mexico. It has a scale length of 24 inches for a unique feel and sound. For optimal playing comfort, the neck has a C profile, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Other Mustangs sometimes have an unusual bridge type fitted, this model, however, has a hardtail Strat bridge for excellent sustain and string vibration transfer. The body is made of alder, while the neck and fretboard are made of maple. Whereas old Mustangs had a separate switch per pickup, this model has a 3-way pickup switch, two Mustang single-coil pickups and controls for volume and tone, for a wide variety of sounds. If you're looking for a Fender that's just a little bit different from most other Fender guitars, the Mustang may be the model for you.
