If you want to get your hands on a real Fender Telecaster but find the American made models a little too pricey, this Mexican Fender Player Telecaster MN produces the same legendary twang at a much more attractive price! Fender's Player series follows on from the popular Standard series and offers quality instruments with excellent value for money. This standard Telecaster model even offers an extra 22nd, medium jumbo fret and will give you all of the outstanding diversity of sound and playing comfort you would expect from this classic workhorse.
Player Telecaster MN: bent steel saddles and Alnico 5 single-coils
Just like the American model, this Tele has a string-through-body bridge with six bent steel saddles that not only add brightness to the sound but even more sustain to your notes. Since its mounted with two Alnico single-coil pickups, the warm and full, amplified sound of this Telecaster is apparent as soon as you plug it in. Toggle the no-nonsene 3-way pickup switch, volume and tone controls and you'll find the sound you've been looking for in no time at all.
Unmistakably Fender
The modern C profile, maple neck and 9.5-inch fretboard radius give this Telecaster all of the unmistakable playing comfort you would expect from Fender. The sealed, self-lubricating machine heads and synthetic bone nut play their part in this model's excellent tuning stability. The alder body has a high-gloss finish and the neck is sealed with satin-gloss, allowing your hand to slide effortlessly along it, explaining just why this solid body guitar has remained so popular for so long.
