Since the introduction of the Telecaster in the 1950s, countless guitarists have fallen for the bright sound and high degree of playing comfort this iconic model offers. Now, fans of Fender Telecasters will be dazzled by this Special Edition in stylish Opal White. It has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and a 4-ply mother-of-pearl pickguard to complement its finish, while two robust single-coil pickups give it that famous Tele twang.
Special Edition Telecaster White Opal: an eye for detail
Fender has added a number of small design details to the Opal White Telecaster to improve its playing comfort and sound quality. The maple neck, for instance, has a 9.5-inch radius, 21 medium jumbo frets, and has been given a satin-gloss finish for a fast feel. A string-through-body bridge with 6 block saddles offers a comfortable surface for right hand placement. Interestingly, the holes in the body have been blocked to keep unwanted noise to a minimum.
