General

Fender's Standard Stratocaster HSS is an electric guitar for those who want an authentic Strat, but with more power! This guitar has a humbucker in the bridge for the extra oomph you need. Normally, you'd have three single-coils at your disposal, but this Fender HHS has a humbucking pickup in the bridge position to provide you with fat, clean sounds with no unwanted noise. This is what makes this Strat suitable for heavy-duty work.

Pickups and sound

This Standard Stratocaster HSS design is unmistakably Fender. It has an ash body and a maple neck, which has a satin-gloss finish on the back for a smooth, fast playing feel. Fender used exotic pau ferro wood for this guitar's fretboard as a more eco-friendly alternative for rosewood. With 21 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch fretboard radius, this Strat is sure to feel familiar as soon as you strike the first chord!
