General
First introduced in 1988, the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster is one of the longest-running signature solid-body models in Fender's range. The scalloped rosewood fretboard and brass string nut are the most noticeable differences between this guitar and the 'average' American Stratocaster. The scalloped fretboard was inspired by instruments like the lute and the sitar and allows you to accurately control your bends and vibratos.
Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster Vintage White MN
The 21 super jumbo frets and 9.5-inch fretboard radius of the modern C-profile neck allow for that classic Fender feel with a focus on modern playing comfort. A vintage-style four-screw binding fixes the Fender neck to the Vintage White alder Stratocaster body while the headstock is finished in a large '60s-style. The contours of this Yngwie Malmsteen Strat have been enhanced for improved comfort against your body.
Seymour Duncan YJM Fury and Fender No-Load Tone
The Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster is mounted with three Seymour Duncan YJM Fury pickups. The stacked-coil design of these pickups makes sure your guitar tone maintains a clear, dynamic single-coil character without being bothered by any typical noise and hum. There's a STK-S10N at the neck and middle position and an STK-S10B at the bridge. Fender's No-Load tone potentiometer comes from the Delta Tone system of the standard American Fender Series and, between position 0 and 9, this pot functions as a normal tone control. When you hit position 10, it eliminates itself from the circuit (True-Bypass) for just that extra bit of volume and punch.
